Duncan cheated out of all-star starting spot
« on: November 17, 2007, 08:54:30 AM »
In a move designed to again put down the Spurs  ;) the league in its infinite wisdom has decided to put Duncan on the all-star ballot as a center.  So instead of allowing voters to choose Duncan to start in the all-star game at the PF spot Timmy has to convince around 20 gazillion Chinese to NOT vote for Yao.  It is a real shame that the best big man in the league won't be starting in the all-star game.

On the flip side...with Duncan listed as a center and KG sent east the forward spot is wide open this year.  Maybe Dirk can be voted as a starter now that his competion has been eliminated by the league.
It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.  Keep on thinking free.

You can't be the championship team and be the one the league hates.  It doesn't work that way.  Once your team is good it forever has the league in it's back pocket.  Some people around here still seem to think the Lakers have the league in their back pocket from 4-5 years ago.

Carlos Boozer should give Dirk a run for his money.
