I was trying to think of players who didn't shoot that often but still converted a large number of shots they did take. Dunno why Byron Scott came to mind. That fast break to stop at the FT to shoot a wide open shot was always money.
Because he did shoot often and his .482 conversion makes both his # of attempts and shot % better then almost everyone on the list.
Nearly 2000 fg attempts matches with Magics 2500, and for his 1st 10 seasons Scott averaged about 17 pts per playoff game. That even including his rookie year of 8 pts pg.
By comparison Avery only took 819 attempts career.
