the rest all have something to do with the "Godzilla" preview you are asking about.  Although I think the movie may be more along the line of Lovecraft and his C'thulhu monster.  you will find info, the trailer, and clues to the movie that are being revealed slowly as part of the marketing campaign.

The Godzilla potential preview is running with the Transformers movie.  The trailer never tells you what the movie is really about, just shows people running and things blowing up, first thought I had was it's Godzilla but the trailer just ends without any credits or movie title.

the credits say the executive producer is JJ Abrams - also the guy behind "lost" and the big guy behind "Bad Robot Productions"

these sites I listed are part of a viral marketing campaign - that campaign really got going when it was added to the transformers movie as a trailer.

it could be godzilla...but from visiting these sites - which are part of the campaign to advertise this movie it starts to sound like the a Lovecraft novel.  either way, I am psyched to see what this film turns into.

Okay so the preview where the guy is suppose to be leaving town then there is a huge explosion is godzilla right?  That is what my girlfriend and I thought as we were sitting in the movie theater but was not sure.  Was it just me or did all the movie trailers seem to not say a damn thing about the movie it was trying to get you hyped up for?  Kind of had the opposite effect on me.  I didn't want to know more, I didn't care cuz I was confused after the trailer.

I like it when they make you wonder, kinda like cursing in Spanish or the Queens English, it's crafted rather than obvious and vulger.

some new site popped up on the movie page.  the code name for this movie is "cloverfield"  there is a website: http://www.ethanhaas.org/ that links to the web pages that connect to this movie.  a new link popped up today:  http://www.abz3293.com

this new link goes to a page asking you to help find an SUV owned by a young white 25 year old male.  The SUV they are asking you to help find should be the one in the movie trailer that gets crushed by the statue of liberty head.

also looking at the page source with firefox i found this:
