Sports Guy Blasts NBA
« on: May 16, 2007, 05:22:03 PM »
I'm a big Bill Simmons fan, but I don't always agree with him.  He talks about the Patriots way too much - actually, make that all New England sports franchises - and his skewed take on the Cardinals' World Series run last year is something I can never forgive.

Nevertheless, he's funny as hell and 100% right in his latest column ... the NBA has become a joke to some fans.

And on top of that, he takes Bruce Bowen to task for being Grade-A filthy, which is something anyone with a functioning cerebrum already knows.

This message was brought to you by Diet Dr. Pepper.  It tastes more like regular Dr. Pepper.

Cards' 2010 regular season record: 50-41

A few of us were talking about this today (the joke part of the NBA) because it seems, at times, as if it is playing out like the WWF.  Not just a brawling incident but with things seeming over sensationalized to the point where it seems almost fabricated.

Hay as a Raiders fan at least he acknowledged the BS tuck call that kicked off the Patriots dynasty.
