Eddy Curry continues career year
« on: February 14, 2007, 03:01:16 AM »
Jamal Crawford did a perfect drive and pull up ally oop pass to Eddy Curry for the game winning slam with 7 seconds vs the Lakers last night for a 107-106 Knicks win.  He came back off the bench with 1:45 left after Ronny Turiaf got a few rebounds for the purple n gold.  Curry matched his averages this year with 19/7.

Curry is having career highs with averages of:
34 minutes
19 pts
7 boards
58 fg% ties second year with Bulls.

The Knicks inched closer to .500 at 23-29.
Could we be saying Knicks and Playoffs in same sentence?

They ARE in the weak Eastern Conference, so anything is possible

Hey Reality!

As much as the detractors of the almost-universally detested Isiah Thomas would like to deny it, the facts are that despite being saddled with huge albatrosses upon his arrival in the NYK organization Isiah has started to turn this wayward ship in the right direction.  I would not be surprised to see them make the playoffs (PLAYOFFS?!), even with a sub.500 record.  No further than that is possible however, IMO.
