NFL Playoffs set
« on: December 31, 2006, 08:23:11 PM »
Congrats Eagles.  Way to go Detroit (beat Cowboys).
San Diego.  Costly win to secure HomeField?  Rivers and LT dinged up.  How much not know until tommorow (Monday).
Rest up, you undefeated at home Chargers!

Eagles fans have to be overjoyed at the way they turned their season around.  Still, all they've done is beat up on division rivals (Phonies!) and bad teams like Atlanta. -Could you believe the Eagles 2nd team is better than the Falcons!

New Orleans kicked the crap out of the Eagles earlier this season.  Things are different now, but the Saints and Bears look to be the cream of the NFC.  The Eagles still have a lot to proove, but I don't think anyone wants to face them.  They are peaking at the right time, unlike the Cowboys who are punking out.

Bill Walsh like the Eagles.

Just go to www.philly.com and to the Inquirer's sport section.

Walsh is very impressed with Garcia and the Eagles, and thinks that Andy and Marty have done a great job with the West Coast offense.

Walsh actually recruited Garcia into the league when he was with the 49'ers. He said that Garcia had great instincts as a Quarterback and that was the most important quality.

Personally, I think Garcia has run the offense as well or better than McNabb ever did.
