Kings #1 by how much
« on: February 12, 2004, 10:30:11 AM »
Props to the Kings for a tough road win at Detroit.  Mixed with road wins last 10 days or so vs Spurs and Rockets.  What was up with the brutalizing fouls against Brad Miller.  Did he call some of the Pistons mothers some names?  What led up to that?

Anywho the Kings are indeed rated #1 by quite a few, however are they really much further ahead then MN, Spurs, Indy, Unbeatable Lakers, now even Hou?  (Hou great potential, man i wish they did not choose Van Grunty)  Or are they "ahead" at all?

I've said no all along, and now the squeaker wins mixed in with some losses bear it out.  While MN can't get comfortable with being #1 for more then a day, i think its bunched up and still a good playoffs scene for a lot of teams.  WC of course, altho Indy has shown it can compete.  MN getting Troy Hudson back should only help.  Now they could even dangle Wally as trade bait IMO.  Ollie Miller back in black, i love it.  Can Candy even be convinced to nut up and play some hard team ball?  Look out.

Whats gonna happen when the Nets play a real team?  Dare we add a 2nd EC team to the mix.  Not now by any means but they sure look good with the new coach.
