I'm a HUGE Disney fan, go to Disney World every 2 years...

CARS SUCKED!!  Visually, it was great, storyline dragged, jokes were not funny, did not have that Pixar magic which I've come to expect.  It will blow up at the box office, but I would rate it the WORST out of all the Pixar movies.

I would give it 6 out 10 jalepenos. :bounce:

There was something about it that just said 'BLAH' to me.  Not exactly sure why I was so uninterested in this movie but I am.  Like you I am a big Pixar fan.  Love the computer animation and every movie that they have put out so far especially the Incredibles.  The previews for it did not look all that interesting and I don't think I have heard a rave review for it either.  Should do well at the box office as there really is not a movie parents can take their younger children to the movies to see.  X-men is more about the 14+ crowd than the same demographic CARS is going after.

Based on your amount of Jalapenos I think this may end up being a rental or something I wait till it hits the DirecTV movie channels before I sit and watch.

It wasn't HORRIBLE, it just wasn't as FANTASTIC as say Finding Nemo, Toy Story and the Incredibles were.

From Pixar, I expect to be blown away and totally engulfed in the story, this time out, I was a little bored at times.  I was in awe at how beautiful and realistic the animation was (possibly the best so far to date, especially the racing scenes), just the storyline was long and the movie was a bit drawn out.

My kids liked it ok, it wasn't all that great.

It was more of a 2nd tier movie.
