Hunter trade recinded.

I wonder what happened to make New Orleans back out of the deal, but their Doctors thought that Hunter's injuries made the trade inadviseable.

Considering that Hunter had been playing all year for the Sixer, from training camp through to when the trade occurred, it seems unreasonable to think that he's damaged goods.

They knew who he was before the trade, so stiff or not, they thought he was worth the chance, so what happened?

I'm fine with it.  Hunter is no great Center, but he's learning and he does have height.  Eventually he should become a decent backup, assuming he's willing to put forth the effort.

Maybe the almost trade will motivate Hunter to work harder on his game, and be determined not to be passed around from team to team as a maginal player.
