Spurs now 1-0
« on: December 29, 2005, 04:24:24 PM »
Tim Duncans shaved head has resulted 26 and 9 on 11-15 in a Spurs win over Pacers.

a.  Will this trend continue?

bee Is Tim more aerodynamic?

c.  Is this a statement in contrast to Fabs Obertos jealousy causing locks?

d.  does WOW secretly have tickets, plan on attending the Lakers-Spurs game for a photo op with Fabs?

e.  Are Tim, Tony P and Eva Longoria now part of some crime spree whose aim is to undermine police activity.

f.  Does SpursXs3 ride a bike and have a security guard police uni?

Speaking of the police...

I just had two cops question me about a picture on a milk carton.  It's none other than Flabs Obenchco, he's "missing".

Any Spurs fans seen him in the last few weeks?

Fabs Oberto continued his torrid shooting Thurs night vs Oklahoma City.

1-1 (Randy and WOW that is 1000%)
3 assists
1 steal
in only 9 minutes.

Kwame Brown
21 minutes
0-1
4 boards
0 assists
1 steal
2 blocks
4 turnovers
5 fouls

Looks like Kobe is "missing[/size]" when it comes to spotting an open Kwame.  Oh wait.  Kobes closing in OT vs Memphis by hitting 3-4 upped him to a scintillating 13-37.

Which we know is entirely the rest of the Lakers fault for forcing Kombe to shoot.
In fact let me readjust that.
Kobe was a perfect 13-13 along with 24 "Kobmes", the new stat which tracks how many offensive rebound opportunities Kobe generously bestows upon his inferior teamates.

7-9 17 pts
7 boards
4 assists
4 blocks

As Pop breathed the light, Duncan did not play the most minutes and Fabs came in for 9 beauties in a 20 point win.

I was SOOO looking forward to seeing Flabs play the other night but I went into the kitchen to get a can of pepsi and I missed his court appearance for the night!

I'm sure it must have been incredible though!

Wow, Oberto got FOUR minutes last night?  Pop is DEFINATELY beginning to trust him off the bench in precious garbage minutes, huh?

Hey, if they won by 31 points, you would have thought that Pop could have trusted him with a few more than four minutes in that game, huh?

     WOW and       Randoph      you could continue to use Laker math      and compare him to Kwame Brown

But then this is Kwame Browns 5th year in the league. :eek2:
Brown is a former #1 overall pick.

So what if Laker Math was discontinued and true comparison stats were given?

Fabs is a rookie.  2nd Round, 57th overall.
Andrew Bynum is a rookie.  1st round, 10th overall pick 47 slots higher then Fabs.
Or maybe we could compare the Lakers 2nd r pick Von Wafer.

Bynums gawdy #s: PPG 1.2 RPG 1.7

Fabs backs up Tim Dunkar on a 25-7 Spurs team going for 3 of 4 Champs.
Bynum backs up ummn Chris Mihm on a 15-16 sub .500 team.

Andrew Bynums last 5 games.

Umm, WHERE did anyone make predictions about ANY of these players other than YOU, Reality?

Anyone claiming that Bynum was going to have a great NBA career?

Anyone here claiming that Kwame Brown was going to be a great player just because he changed uniforms?

Nope!

The ONLY person who made any claims about ANY of these players was YOU -- claiming that Oberto was the next imported superstar and was going to have a great impact (remember, starting alongside TD, blah, blah, blah).

The fact is that players like Rasho and Nazr MUST be better because they are the ones getting all those minutes.

I seem to remember someone STATING that Fabs was going to be great (something about their great assessing skills, blah, blah, blah) -- I guess it's that selective memory thing you have again!

IMO it's Flabs shortcommings in practice that is keeping him off the floor.  Soft Cake Euro D doesn't cut it on the Spurs.

I'm amazed how the Spurs D environment can effect even the likes of Glen Robinson!  :eek2:

Actually Randy, lets be a little fair to Reality.  I did comment on Kwame Brown earlier in the year.  The comment was something to the effect of Kwame Brown benefitting from the switch to the Laker environment and that he would improve.  So far that's been a big fat mega-negatory on that prediction.  Oh well.
