Google pre-OS???

Looks like Google is taking steps to an OS.  I have not downloaded this yet, will do it when I get home today.
On the set of Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris brought a dying lamb back to life by nuzzling it with his beard. As the onlookers gathered, the lamb sprang to life. Chuck Norris then roundhouse kicked it, killing it instantly. The lesson? The good Chuck giveth, and the good Chuck, he taketh away.

Thats a cool pack I saw all the 'essentials' which really are essential IMO!

As far as operating system goes.  I doubt they will stretch themselves that thin but I wouldn't be suprised to see them really helping out a Linux distribution.

That picasa tool is great!  Only #2 to Google Earth for me right now.  I've pointed alot of the engineers we have out in field trailors to use Picasa to manage the photos they take for daily reports.  So far so good, its been working out great for them.
