This is a mirage, they will revert to DonaldBall.

This all depends on the health of Sam Cassell so I am going to say its way too early to say for sure.  Personally Ive seen some very good, cohesive basketball from the Clips and believe they can make the playoffs.  Without Sam though I think they sputter.

Have you been checking the games?  That sports writer who dissed Elton Brand for only wanting to score looks like an even bigger moron now.

It is still early but I think that the Clippers have a good chance to make the playoffs.  As far as their success once they get there it will depend on the matchup.  If they can hold homecourt (win the Pacific) then they will play the 6 or 7 seed and have a decent chance of advancing one round.

They'll be lucky to MAYBE squeeze in as a #8 seed before getting swept by a San An.

Cassell will continue to have a good year barring injury, though.
