Astros v Cardinals.

Game 2.
Had all the makings for a great finish.   :hail: Jim Edmonds defense.  If he could add consistently clutch offense he would be one of the all time greats in CenterField.

Oz held them off tho in bottom 7.  Two on one out and Eckstein fouled a bunch off but succumbed.  Next came Edmonds and he couldn't get it done.  Threat ended in 7th.

From there talk about a game of inches.  8th inning Sanders miffing the tough fly ball to give the Astros more cushion.

You Missouri hicks are hitting the Duff beer hard?  :drunk:

I'm going to inject Roger Clemons with a nice dose of Balco steroids to give the 'Stros a 2-1 advantage.

Off the Padre's bandwagon and onto the Astro's, christ man, you're incorrigable!!

Watchout Texans of the board, Reality is comin' on board another Texas team, god knows his own teams will never do anything worth a cheer.

   Read my past posts on the wussy Padres.  I can't stand that organization.  They couldn't even deliver one game so I could have a business schmooze at Game 4 in San Diego.

You Redbirds don't have some team to roll over die in this series.  Wonder how Carlos Beltran is feeling about leaving the 'Stros for the Mets.

I don't think he can see what the Astros are up to over the piles upon gobs of money he's got stacked around.

As for the Astro's, who needs Beltran, I guess its time for Chris Burke to go uncouncious and start rackin' up ribbis and runs like its goin' out of style.  There is always someone who steps it up with this team!

Yes a pro player actually playing for a title.  Guess you'll only find that on the Spurs. B)

Burkes play has been good, but what i really want to know is what kind of Duff Beer/Steroid/elixor did you Misery hicks give Wally Williams to make him Cy Young when in St Louis?  Before and after a stiff.

Gm 4 2-1 Astros win.  Final play double play Redbird out at 1st.  Looked like a tie to me as would be tying run crossed the plate.  I was waiting for Fox to do one of those split sceen slo-mo conclusive replays.  They did but in real time.

The pitch to ring up Edmonds in the 8th was a joke.  But since you all don't want instant replay, hit the Duff Beer.

Houstons remaining series starting pitching lineup of Petite-Oz-Clemons.  Cards can do it but that's an uphill challenge.
