Wed night.
Who's your pick.
Phx should be itching for revenge after the OT loss.

Health may be a big factor.

Re Tues nights SAS hosting Nets:
"Tim Duncan should be in the lineup despite spraining his ankle in Sundays win over the Jazz.He practiced yesterday and head coach Gregg Popovich said Monday that Duncan's status is between questionable and probable.  

Nazr Mohammed is expected to miss his third straight game with a sore groin. Rasho Nesterovic may also miss tonite's game. He is suffering from flu-like symptoms."

I think Tims injury will hurt us more so than anything else, even if he is in the line up, Massenburg can et some time in the canter spot as well as sean marks, but if Tim is slowed because of his ankle, Amare can go off on him.   For right now I would give Phoenix the edge to win.  I would hope we pull through, but right now they could run all over us.  What will we do now that we dont have Malik to save us?? :rofl:  :rofl:  :rofl:  :rofl:

Well if the Spurs lose just make up stats on how well Nazr and Rasho do.

Whats funny is i admitted that i went on memory, and found the right stats for you.  you cant admit your still wrong, compounded by a severe cae of stupidity.  That's what is really funny.

For someone who hasnt seen Nazr play very much for the Spurs I find it hard to believe you know what he brings to the table.

Tim should sit tonight.  Chasing around young Amare isnt going to do that knee any good.  If I were the Spurs id let Duncan take a few days off here and there as the reg. season winds down.  This years championship is clearly their's to lose.

More than likely Pop will go with Massenburg at the center spot.  as for Nazr, I dont know if Pop will give him any real thought right now, the guy still needs to get comfortable in our system, after he does that - then Pop will really throw him out there.  Phoenix though, well, an injured tim against amare in his prime physical condition is pretty tough.  I think the game will go to the Suns.

I think the coach is the one who should make the decision but Pop let Duncan decide to play vs NJ.

You know, Pop is usually very adament about letting his players play injured - i mean if one of them got a paper cut - he would bench them for like 10 games it seemed.  but since he got Manu - who gets injured quit a bit the way he plays so feverishly, I think he has really lightenned up on the IR thing.  Manu can twist an ankle slightly one game and back after one game out even if the ankle is still tweaked a bit.  I cringe at that.  but he is allowing the players to tell him if their body can take it or not.  very different the past couple of years.  

I hope he pulls rank if Tims doesnt look like his old self, dont want him going out right before playoffs.  look at steve nash, The suns play their starters the majority of their games it seems and it can really be hell on their top player - nash.  I dont want that happenning to tim.

Letting Manu play thru an injury and letting Duncan play thru an injury is night and day.  If Manu goes down you lose spark, hustle, and energy.  If Tim goes down you lose everything.  No real post up threat, a huge advantage on the glass, no intimidation factor, etc etc etc etc.  The list goes on for a mile.  I wouldnt let him play back to back or let him have to chase around Amare.  Like I said before tho, Pop knows what hes doing and I am no NBA coach.

well the loss wasnt as bad as i thought.  I knew Tim wasnt going to play - but MANU TOO!  didnt watch the game, but heard Manu was out with a groin pull, that surprised me.  still though only losing by six to the suns with the two top players on our team out kind of makes the Suns look pretty bad in my book.  they got the "w"  but I dont know if that boosts their confidence or not going into the playoffs.  they had better hope Tim and Manu stay injured for it to really mean anything..good showing by our support guys tonight.
