Dikau is nothing special, and in fact, Speedy has better stats. If he doesn't start, will it be his fault or the coach's.
Not that I don't respect a well-executed play, but basketball is a simple game. Run until you get open with a good shot at the basket, get the ball and score. Go get the ball again. Don't let your man score either.
The players who can handle the ball and see the court, who can make THE pass are the best types of players, provided they can do other things. These are the players than make things happen.
Speedy may not be in that top 20%, but with his quickness he can get his own shot and get to the line. Come to think of it, if he gets the time, he might be in that top 20%. He'll need to improve his shooting and 3pt. pct. to get there.
