Man here we are at Friday and no smack?  With Rick making a rare appearance no less?

Ah well Eagles fans, I understand.  You don't want to start anything with your team depending on a human time bomb.   Someone tell T.O. the start time so he doesn't need another escort, mmmkay?  Moss needs to give him some driving tips.  :o

Plus there's the shame of all those McNabb and Mom soup commercials.

You're going to call TO a ticking time bomb when you have Moss?  :wow:  Who's had more problems with the law?  This one's not even close.

As for the actual game, wish this were more around week 8 when both teams are more finely tuned.  Still, I feel confident.  I think our D as a whole is better then yours, and will make the difference.  People act like the Eagles secondary is all ofa sudden a weakness.  Well, for one, we still have an all-world Safety tandem.  Dawkins is easily top 3, and Lewis should be a pro bowler this year.  And our corners are talented, if not experienced.  Although our corners will get beat by Moss because they are both 5'10".

Yeah but Moss's blow ups don't sabotage team chemistry.  The same cannot be said for TO and the Niners.  I'm talking strictly football here.  Nothing matters besides that right?

The Eagles definitely have an advantage on D, though the Vikes D looks better than it has in years.  Antoine Winfield is the best corner we've had in a decade, at least.

db took jn's powerbait

This is going to be the game to watch this weekend.  Probably the two best combinations of WR and QB in the league right now (at least IMO, we will see).  Minn looked very impressive at home last weekend and TO and McNabb seem to be clicking very well.  If I had to put money on the game I'd put it on Minn.  With that being said, Im not picking this game for our survior football this week.  Too close.

TO hasn't had problems in his own lockerroom, besides last years blowup with Garcia and the resulting blowup with the coordinator.  In fact, it was under Marty Mornhinweg's (Former offensive coordinator at SF, 1997-2000) recommendation on his lockerroom behavior.  Outside of Garcia, TO's generally liked in his own lockerroom.  It's the oppositions lockerroom that typically hates him because of his antics.

And yes, Winfield was a huge addition.  I'm not as high on him as some, but comparatively it's a huge upgrade.  I think we should be able to run the ball though, and our TE's could have another HUGE day.  Especially in the Red Zone, where they (before this year) were the #1 target for McNabb.

That's not saying a whole lot, and Winfield's overrated anyway.  Can he hit like a truck?  Sure.  Is he one of the best in coverage?  Nope.

I'll bet Minn wins by 10.
