Lakers - Celtics trade amended

Interesting development in the Lakers-Celtics trade.  Payton doesn't show up for his physical....so Boston waives the requirement.  But inreturn the Lakers give back Banks & the second round draft pick and take Jumaine Jones.

So in essence the trade is:

Payton, Fox & 1st round pick

for

Mihm, Atkins & Jones

Looks more & more like LA got the short end of this deal.  Can Mitch survive the summer?
It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.  Keep on thinking free.

Are you sure the 1st round pick to Celts is still a part of it?

Doesnt anyone know if the Celts retain the conditional 1st round pick the Lakers initially included?

I've come to expect the board to be so cutting edge.......

I read/heard the Celtics kept the pick.

Yes I went to Boston Herald.com and a few others but no one seemed to know for a fact if the #1 still belonged to Boston.

Now with this latest Pouton revelation that he will not play for the Celts, can the Celts deal him and come out smelling even rosier? Pouton says he will go to the Clips, Rockets or Twolves.  Would any of them give up value for Pouton?
