Sounds like this is a done deal and I'm very pleased for Sam.  He's good guy who got the most from his talent and earned leaguewide respect.  One of McFlip's best moves was to reacquire Mitchell from the Pacers and plant his locker right next to a rookie named Kevin Garnett.

Story: When asked why he chose to sign with the Timberwolves Malik Sealy talked about how Sam had been a great mentor too him in Inidana.

Here's hoping he can at least get Toronto's players on the same page.  I don't forsee them making a big turnaround at this point.

congrats?  more like condolenses.  becoming a coach for the raptors is eerily similar to being drafted by the clippers.

Whoa Derek! Let's not say things we cant take back!  :D

You're certainly correct that he has his work cut out for him.  Even with the coaching carousel that the East became this year a guy like him can't afford to wait for something better.  He just has to take it and hope to duplicate the work he did as an assistant to TP in Milwaukee.

He needs to mentor Vince Carter's ego.  He has his work cut out for him but if he can actually get these guys to try for 48 minutes for half the year he accomplished something.

But isn't half a year all that Vince plays?
It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.  Keep on thinking free.
