Mark Cuban comments about the Piston title.
« on: June 22, 2004, 10:20:29 PM »
Cuban was on ESPN discussing various topic, he basically stated that the Pistons made their way through the playoffs against teams losing an integral part.

Nets lost Kidd.
Pacers lost O'Neil.
Lakers lost Malone.

I guess I'm not alone in my bitterness!
"History shouldn't be a mystery"
"Our story is real history"
"Not his story"

"My people's culture was strong, it was pure"
"And if not for that white greed"
"It would've endured"

"Laker hate causes blindness"

Sounds familiar to people from South Texas.  No one has respected either title that the Spurs won.  We heard the same  :bs:  last year.
It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.  Keep on thinking free.

Don't forget about Dallas.  They didn't lose Antoine Walker to injury.  That was a devastating blow to the Mavs chances.
A third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. A second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority. A first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking.

A quotation is a handy thing to have about, saving one the trouble of thinking for oneself.

This is stupid -- if you question a teams title one year, then they question yours if you ever get one.  Cuban likes to get his face in the headlines -- he took lessons from Dennis Rodman -- say and do whatever it takes to get in papers, even if it's dumb and you look stupid.
