Nets replacing Scott the right move? Kidd rumors

While there was lots of squaking about Jason Kidd being the reason Byron Scott was fired, team is now 5-0 since the new guy. David Aldridge of espn writes it wasnt just Kidd who did not like Scotts strategy. While the schedule has been kind since the new coach took over and will for the most part continue to be so thru Feb, their will be some solid tests in Detroit, MN, and at the end of Feb the unbeatable Lakers .

As Aldridge writes was the mistake more in waiting until now to let Scott go? By that he means if NJ was going to move Scott all along, and it appears they were after last seasons non extension, then should he have been moved in the offseason. Even for his sake.

As for the rumors of Kidd coming to SA, which i could take or leave, an 0-5 start with the new coach would have really further fueled a trade rumor. But i think the 5-0 douses just as much.

Kidd and Kobe in the Spurs backcourt in 2004-5 does indeed sound good. But i dont think Kidd will be joining him now...
