Sorry to hear it.  I enjoyed his columns even when I disagreed with him.  He generally had a good take on the NBA.

jn you've been off for a while.  Hope it was good.  We had a thread on which team was hurt the most by injuries.  I mentioned MN with Cassell and THud.  Fuzzy White Bear mentioned how both were PGs.  True but i ask did not MN play these two at the same time often?  How often?  Were they both healthy would MN had played them together for the majority of the game or.....

Before the season Flip said he wanted to play them together a lot.  Unfortunately due to THud's injury we never really found out if he meant it.  They were on the court together for some stretches.  Personally I don't think it's something they could have gotten away with defensively for long stretches.
