A day after winning MVP honors in the NBA All-Star game, Lakers star Shaquille O'Neal was a no-show at practice.
Lakers coach Phil Jackson said O'Neal called to say he wasn't feeling well and wouldn't attend Monday's practice as the team prepared to play Portland on Tuesday night in its first game following the break.
