So you expect the refs to make calls that they don't see???

I expect them to pay attention to the play and realize what's going on.  The Suns all pointed at Manu on the ground and the ref didn't even look!  It's his job to look at the play when he makes a call, if he didn't see it, how can he say which team should get the ball?

The answer is, he shouldn't!  He should rely on the other TWO referees to make the call.

Even after the ball went out of bounds, Manu still had Stoudamire's legs trapped.  The real question is how can three refs, who are supposed to be watching the game, miss something like that?

Same way they missed to obvious moving screen by Amare just prior to GNob wrapping his leg up.   One of numerous moving screen Stoudamire has gotten away with this series.
