That's right beeyotchez!

Carlos Whoozer?

Paul Millsap just dropped 46 and 9 on the SuperFriends, and brought his team from down 22 in the second quarter to a win in Miami. When the Jazz really figure out how to play with each other, they could mess some people up!

When I saw the headline, I honestly thought the message was going to be, 'I finally got my 9th wife!'

But I digress.

Heard about the fourth quarter, and apparently Millsap destroyed the Heat.  As Bill Simmons might say, 'This never would have happened if Udonis Haslem was still alive.'

What will they do when Memo gets back?

Incredible, I thought the boxscore was a typo.

Then I looked at Millsap's knowing smirk on his portrait and realized the kid knows something we don't and I just hope Al Jeff doesn't stifle him the way Captain Boo Boo (Boozer) did.

Pretty awesome game.  I was hoping one of you Jazz fans would make a thread about it.  Much deserved win and much deserved gloating LOL!

The Heat's weaknesses are exposed and not getting corrected anytime soon.  Attack Bosh with big men and let your point guard go to work.

Props to Utah.
How do you allow 3 pter after three pointer -quickly at that- when all you needed to do was concede the two pointer while milking the clock down?
Up 9 with 37 seconds?  That's inexcusable.
Let the Pat Riley countdown begin.

Before you guys get too high on Utah, let me point out something - an annoying little tradition Utah has going:

We were down by 22, early.  We have a habit  of starting games slow, and either getting blown out (see opening night vs. Denver) or clawing our way back in with exhausting effort.  The slow start thing ends up costing us - either by us getting blown out, or us suffering after-effects of climbing back in.  Orlando was a statement game, but had that been New York or Indiana or the like, that's a game we routinely lose.

We've been doing that since our Finals days.

We're Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde.

^^ Yep.

While props for Utah aplenty and the *demise* of Miami has many putting a fork in them, one example of historical perspective:
Another of the times a guy went off for an unreal # of points in the last 30 seconds was Tracy McGrady's performance against the Spurs in Dec of 2004.
Maybe even better then Millsap's as McGrady was guarded by the best perimeter defender in the league Bruce Bowen.
Also SA was easily the best defensive team during that era.
SA was trying to stop T-mac from shooting the 3s, but the Heat was allowing uncontested wide open treys to Millsap.

The Spurs went on to be the Champs that seasons playoffs of spring 2005.

Break up the Jazz!

Just did it again, completing the road trifecta.
Jazz 90 Hawks 86 after the Jazz again trailed big going into the 4th.

And again, in Charlotte.

Again, I say - THIS DOES NOT BODE WELL FOR THE FUTURE.
