Basketball Hall of Fame Omissions
« on: August 31, 2010, 04:43:22 PM »
I'm going to throw this out as a topic:

Who are the notable players who most SHOULD be in the Basketball Hall of Fame, but AREN'T?

I suggest we take a poll, and then send it collectively to Charles Barkley, and see if we can get him to do like he did for Dennis Johnson, advocating publicly for their admission.

Who do you guys think should be in?
Joe

My nomination:  ARTIS GILMORE.  It's the *BASKETBALL* Hall of Fame, not just the NBA Hall of Fame, and Gilmore's play in the ABA and NBA should have gotten him in long ago.
