Great movie, I don't agree with you about the ending. The ending was about carrying on the arc of the violin being valued for it's use vs it's monetary value.
I thought angry black Jackson was stealing it for monetary gain. Plus some of the other bidders seemed to also value the Red its artsy value, not for resale profit. Like the long silver haired guy who ran the shop (he also double roled as the guy who took they young kid from the monastery/orphange and taught him.)
If Jackson was indeed just trying to preserve the artsiness of the Red then yes I am okay with the ending.
Also, did not
need to know what happened to brilliant playing little kid whom faggy King gave sleep potion to thus faking his death and the casket being staged, but would have
liked to know. I do not believe young kid became future red haired nude playing concerto as that seemed to be a much more future era. Or did you take that to be little kid grown up?
