Cap space for 2010
« on: February 20, 2009, 11:04:58 AM »
Does anyone know how much moeny teams will have next year?  I read that SA was going to have a good amount for this next season - but I have not read what amount that is.  same goes for the Kings, New York, etc.  Links you guys know of that can be posted to see what kind of money we are talking about for next season?
On the set of Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris brought a dying lamb back to life by nuzzling it with his beard. As the onlookers gathered, the lamb sprang to life. Chuck Norris then roundhouse kicked it, killing it instantly. The lesson? The good Chuck giveth, and the good Chuck, he taketh away.

No one knows for sure because no one knows what the cap will be until the summer of 2010.

The Spurs will be in good position because only Duncan, Parker & Hill will be under contract.  And they will have a team option for Mahinmi's final year on the rookie contract.  Manu & Mason are free agents in 2010.

This site is fairly accurate for contracts:

It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.  Keep on thinking free.

Hoopshype has salary data @

I like this site the best
http://www.storytellerscontracts.info/
It is set up an excel format, and you can easily copy the data into xl if you use IE.  Remember you have to include first round picks.

A quotation is a handy thing to have about, saving one the trouble of thinking for oneself.
