It shouldn't bother me that the sixers shoot a much better eFG% and have a higher pecentage of assisted field goals while their starting PG is on the bench...right?

Hard to say, their best, most natural scorers are (Lou, Speights) either on the bench full time or part-time (Thad), while guys like Sam and WG are starting against the better defensive players on the other team.  Definitely an interesting stat though.

But Andre Miller "knows how to play the game"!

It's true for Andre Iguodala as well.

It's probably more an indictment that our starting 5 doesn't fit than it is to judge Andre Miller's ability.

I didn't want to make any major conclusions but it just seemed odd to me...didn't check Iguodala - but now it's even 'odder'

i mean, reggie evans, sam dalembert, louis williams early in the season, willie green (for an entire season) that would make sense to me

That is an interesting stat.

There seems to be two Andre Millers.  The pass first PG and the high volume shooter that shows up when the rest of the offense is struggling.

this year we have seen less of the psas first PG.  I don't know how much of that is due to problems with Miller vs problems with the team and the peices not fitting.

You are forgetting fat and out of shape Andre Miller that shows up to start the season.  I can tolerate a lot with pro athletes, but being out of shape when you are being paid millions to play a game irks me to no end.

In other words, "fat" and "stupid" make over $20 million per year combined.  Maybe Dean Wormer was wrong and that is the way to go through life.
