Chalmers vs Hill in sidebattle Heat vs Spurs
« on: November 07, 2008, 07:23:21 PM »
Spurs braintrust of Gregor Pop and the Front Office elected to pass on 1st Round pick Mario Chalmers of Kansas in favor of George Hill of IPIU.
Chalmers is doing 32 minutes per game and had 9 steals vs the 6ers last night, a Heat franchise record.  The Heat also lead the NBA in points off turnovers, in large part due to Chalmers steals.

Hill has gotten off to a slow start due to injuries but is available to play tonight.  While you TwistyFrans* will read too much into this, and its only an early season game, its still a good little side show as we wait to find out if the 2008 draft was another total loser for the Spurs or not.  Hopefully we will get to see some Chalmers-Hill head to head tonight.

Tony Parker has left the game due to a twisted ankle and is back in the locker room.

Hill is the only Spurs back up point guard

Not true.

Mason can play the position.  There also is some guy named Vaughan on the roster.
It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.  Keep on thinking free.

If they said it on tv, it must be true.
