Fantasy Basketball Suicide
« on: September 16, 2008, 12:49:39 PM »
I posted a thread on the 'main' board (NBA Discussion) regarding the possibilities of creating and testing some sort of 'suicide' game for basketball similar to what is available to the NFL...obviously it would be more intricate and require a little bit of work to design up front....one game per week won't cut it, and there's too many games to only choose one team a week and only that team.

But if anyone is interested, please contribute to the thread...

It could be kinda like beat the streak.  On any night in which there are 5 or more games being played, you need to pick a winner.  Longest winning streak of the season wins the league.  If you lose, you pick up again from 0 the next night.

It's a good suggestion, except ESPN already does it :)

I'm trying to come up with something new, for a bunch of reasons, that no one does yet

Oh.  Wasn't aware of that.  Pick the game with the closest spread each night?
