To be fair, Iggy's probably going to be unhappy unless he gets some more $$$, and Okafor is just generally unhappy because he's stuck playing for a shitty franchise.

Well... the news that the Clippers are supposedly meeting with Smith today is somewhat bad news. Ed has repeatedly said that he will not overpay a player since he became our GM so I wonder where he draws the line with Dre.

What is overpaying for a top 30-40 player?

I would prefer to stay under $60MIL but I would be hesitant about going above $65MIL over 5 years.

And that's about where I would call up the Bobcats and see if they want him and Dalembert for Richardson and Okafor (who's not happy because he feels they're not giving him enough money I think).  I'd rather pay those 2 25 mil than Iggy and Dalembert 23 mil.

That makes a lot of sense to me from a lot of angles with Brown being down in Charlotte. The good news is that Stefanski does have a strong background in finance unlike many of the GMs so I trust him a little more when he comes to negotiating and getting a good deal that won't break our future.

Oh, if only Billy King could get a GM job somewhere, he could become our Kevin McHale.

BK should be only allowed to manage a laundry shop.  however every league needs a village idiot, i say he should be a GM again with another team.  i miss seeing him bidding against himself.
