The teenager 1st rounder Thaddeus Young got his 1st sniff tonight in the blowout.   Like what you saw in 10 minutes?
Igs?  Improved?
Dalembert?  Is there hope?

Iggy's about the same.  Thad's looking good at everything, except his one main weakness (ball handling).  He definitely has the talent, and hustles his butt off, but he's a year or two away.

The main difference so far this year has been defense and rebounding.  We're outrebounding our opponents by 6 per game, and holding them to 39% shooting.  Reggie Evans has helped in both regards, and Dalembert's playing better defensively as well.

Right now with Willie Green and Reggie Evans starting, there's no spacing in the paint.  I think this is somewhat limiting Iguodala, and the team offensively is challenged with the first unit.  Both Green and Evans need to be backups for the team to be playoff contenders.  I think Thad will become the starting SF (and move Iguodala to SG), but I'm not sure it'll be this year.  PF is the biggest question mark.  I like Jason Smith, who's been a pleasant surprise but i'm not sure I see starting potential out of him.

The Sixers looked very good against the Bobcats, but they have injuries and were coming off a game the day before. They are a young team with a lot of energy and as long as they outwork their opponents they have a chance.

Igoudala and Miller are solid players, and Dalembert is becoming a reasonable facsimile of a center. Louis Williams has some real speed and looks like he could become a very good player. Cheeks has a lot of work to do along with Malone to develop the tall players.

I agree with Dabods about Evans, but I haven't made up my mind about Willie.  I think he's still coming back from an injury and deserves a chance to develop a rhythm.

The Sixers are rebuilding. I have low expectations for them, so if they keep winning I'll be pleasantly surprised. I can't believe they're really a .500 ball club.

Any concerns Igs will bail/Sixers will not match?  It's a May question, i know.

Andre Iguodala turned down extension worth close to $60 million.The Philadelphia 76ers swingman will now be a restricted free agent at the end of the season. If he plays well, he could be in line for a max contract next summer.
