The general feeling is LeBron James is almost certain to move on given the older team the Cavs have put together and limited likelihood they'll go anywhere in the playoffs.

I don't see why he would leave.  He is that franchise.  How many teams that are playoff ready right now could afford him without giving up most of their quality players to make sure they could keep him paid for a long time.  It's probably just BS to get more money in his next contract.  I don't see this kid moving to another team.  Yes he did just build a new house, and his family is from that area, he is not going anywhere.
On the set of Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris brought a dying lamb back to life by nuzzling it with his beard. As the onlookers gathered, the lamb sprang to life. Chuck Norris then roundhouse kicked it, killing it instantly. The lesson? The good Chuck giveth, and the good Chuck, he taketh away.

IMO this is just wishful thinking from a Chicago writer whose team is in the same division.  The Cavs roster has a good mix of youth and vets.  Gooden, Hughes, Varejao, Pavlovic are all under 28 years old.  They currently have the second best record in the East.  There is no reason at this point for him to move on.

Besides didn't he just sign a 3-4 year extension?
It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.  Keep on thinking free.
