Excellent episode on one of the better series on cable tv.   You get an awesome glimpse of Bill Russell the person.  Of course they highlight his accomplishments and speak about the kind of player he was but you really see a more personal side of him. Something I  have not seen very much of.  For the kind of player and legend he is he might be the most humble guy on the entire planet.  Sam Jackson plays more of the interviewer role since he and Russell have been friends for years.  You also get to see a more personal and humble side to Sam Jackson.  Both have a number of similarities that you wouldn't expect to see.

You also get to see a more personal and humble side to Sam Jackson.

That may be due to his last two "snake" bombs.  The last one sounded more like a porno than a feature film.
"History shouldn't be a mystery"
"Our story is real history"
"Not his story"

"My people's culture was strong, it was pure"
"And if not for that white greed"
"It would've endured"

"Laker hate causes blindness"
