He could play a few years max.  That is just asking for it with him being so rail thing and that tall.  Plus foot speed and endurance has to be a major issue.  It is for Yao.

He has a long way to go.  He's too slow and unphysical for the NBA.  IF he works out continuously and learns how to speed himself up, he'd have a chance, but I think this guys medical problems have rendered him unable to become a real athlete.

End of game defense i think he is ready now.
7'9" 400 lbs he clogs the middle ala Shaq just by standing there.
It's not like he is completely immobile, he moved around a bit on those videos, enough to alter a shot.  Also to have a rebound fall to wherever area he is standing.
