Tim has now appologized again, saying that hate was a bad word, and he didn't mean to use it.
Somehow, I don't believe him. I'm sure he regrets saying what he did, even though at the time he said it, he meant it!
This is like one of those things that once it happens, it can't be undone. Sort of like a bad car accident, those cars and passengers will never be the same again.
To bad for Tim, he'll go down along with other announcers who crossed the "PC" line, just like Jimmy "The Greek" Snyder. If you're going to be a public personality, you have to respect your audience's values.
