NFL t.d. record
« on: December 12, 2006, 10:32:59 AM »
Does LTs touchdown record have any historical reference points for teams finish?

2005 SuperBowl loss by Seattle to Pitts in what W.O.W. claims was as fixed as 2002 NBA.  Shaun Alexander 28.
2003 13-3 KC Chiefs got #1 seed, then lost in 1st round to Peyton Manning Colts.  Priesty Holmes.  Good game vs Indy but key fumble in 50-41 shootout.
2000 SuperB win Marshal Faulk over Tenn.  The one yard ending.
1995 SuperB win Emmit Smith.  Game thrown by Neil Oddonell.
1983 SB loss John Riggins.  What a battering ram he was.
*2002 Priesty Holmes tied the Riggins record at 24.  Chiefs were only 8-8.

Conclusion.  4 of 5 made the SBowl.  2 won.

This current seasons other stuff:
Can Tony Dungy win the big one?
Have dabods and rt purchased Jeff Garcia jerseys?
Will it come down to Michael Vick Atlanta vs Philly for Wildcard spot?  Yes it will.
Can San Diego be stopped?  No.  Only Martyball could end season.

Hopefully a good omen for the Chargers.  I can't believe how the Steelers were gifted the title, the majority of the country agreed.  You are correct, after the Laker runs in 99, 00 and 01, the Titles have not been legit, either by injury or Sternfish putting in the fix to sell jersey's (Wade and Co.).
