Steve Francis wil be re-evaluated later on Monday after spraining his ankle in Monday's game against the Spurs, but X-rays confirmed there was nothing broken, the Newark Star-Ledger reported. There has been no timetable set for his return.

The buzz in the Knicks' locker room after the game was that Bruce Bowen intentionally placed his foot underneath Francis, who was shooting a jump shot in order to encourage an injury. Bowen has been accused such an incident multiple times in his career, and replays showed he certainly appeared guilty in this case.
