Congrats, Skander!

Congrats, Skander!  Your team got hot right when it needed it, and you pulled out a close victory over Caleb's team.  Also continues the trend that the #1 and #2 seeds have never won.  Great to have another one of the Columbia guys as a champion.  We may not have pro basketball here, but we really KNOW pro basketball here!  Who knows;  you might even get me to admit that Gilbert Arenas is pretty good.  (Then again, you did take Stephon Marbury, so don't expect TOO many compliments.)

Caleb, a big congrats to you, too.  One can only wonder what would have happened if you'd have had a healthy Amare Stoudemire.  (On the positive side, though, if you had dumped Stoudemire, you'd have kept Steve Francis, so in that regard, you're fortunate.)  A great season, and a great turnaround for a team that had really struggled before you took them over.  I told you that I really liked the look of your team, and I feel like this season, you really backed that up.

Joe

Add my congrats to both Skander and Caleb.  Well done guys.

A quotation is a handy thing to have about, saving one the trouble of thinking for oneself.

...and you would have traded Jamal Crawford for him in an instant!
