World Cup and Video game fans

I know this is not normally something we speak about here (video games) as most of you are old farts who don't enjoy them  because in your day you had..... <insert pong speel here>

Anyways!

For those of you who enjoy World Cup Soccer and own a Playstation 2 I recomend going to rent or purchase Fifa Soccer '06.  Not only can you pick your favorite international teams but you also can pick from the various leagues all around the world.  There is also team mangement modes for you to be in charge of your own team and make all the decisions (similar to what you can do in Madden and those games).

Graphics are regular, nothing cutting edge.  Not crappy but not really all that great.

Gameplay is very fun.  The game is addicting and there is so many different ways to approach it.  Pretty much my younger brother, my roomate, and myself have just been playing just one and done matches.  Haven't even touched the tournaments or management parts of the game.

Controls are a little hard at first.  Shooting the ball takes alot of practice.  Passing is relatively easy but does get frustrating when doing longer passes as you have to judge how hard to kick it.  After 3-4 games I had the hang of the basic controls.  Still working on all the ball tricks but for the most part have them under control.

Overall?  8 out of 10 purple and gold fitted caps from me.  I am hooked on this like a junkie on herion.  Almost took a vacation day today to play it today while doing the laundry ive let pile up lol
