Spurs balanced scoring currently has none of them over 20 ppg.

Has their ever been an NBA titlist with no one over 20ppg reg season?

Sidepoint:  Has a team ever finished reg season with best record and no one over 20 ppg?

Here's the top 4 scorers from the 2004 champions....

Hamilton 17.6
Billups 16.9
Sheed 13.7
Prince 10.3

The top scorer on the 2005 champions averaged just 20.3.

And here are the top 4 scorers for the team with the best record in 93-94...

Kemp 18.1
Payton 16.5
Schrempf 15.0
Gill 14.1

bing bing.

Now Lurker, how rare a strategy was that '04 Piston?
Prior to them how far back to find a champ with mega balanced scoring no one over 20 ppg?

on sidepoint that was the Sonic team that lost in the 1st round to 8th seeded Denver.

The last 2 Piston teams (ooh those bad boys) to win titles before the current roster.  Then before that probably the 78/79 Sonics.
