Mashburn Out Minimum Of Three Weeks

New Orleans–The New Orleans Hornets announced that forward Jamal Mashburn will miss a minimum of three weeks due to a patella femoral irritation of his right knee. The diagnosis was made today by team physician Gregor Hoffman.

Mashburn missed the Hornets’ first 44 games this season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery to remove loose particles in his right knee on Nov. 3. He has averaged 20.8 points and 6.2 rebounds in the 19 games since his return.

It is the curse of Ted I tell you.
A third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. A second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority. A first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking.

A quotation is a handy thing to have about, saving one the trouble of thinking for oneself.

I don't know that Mashburn is any more cursed than Davis. I think it's a team curse because of the two of them are rarely on the floor together for more than 1/2 the season. This year was Mashburn's injury year; next year it will be Davis's.
