The salaries of NBA players is discussed quite often as well as the money being made by NBA team owners. However, I don't notice much about the agents, their commission, and their role in hiking up salaries of NBA players and manipulating power in trade talks (as seen in Artest's case).
It seems unfortunate that these middle-men are so powerful. The richest people in my neighborhood are real estate agents.
