If you have, you should be thanking me for telling you.

It was a long wait (about a year) before Gold finally got enough support to break above the 400 level for good, and we're already testing $560.

Gold is in the process of exploding upwards which portends very bad things ahead.  I suggest you protect yourself by getting out of debt, putting your savings into commodities and precious metals and finding ways to be more self-sufficient.  While some of these ideas are always prudent, at times like this it becomes an economic necessity.

I'm talking about the money in your pocket and your bank account here.  It's loosing value, and is in effect stealing from you.  It also appears likely to be getting much worse.

If you're just getting started and want someone else to worry about which thing to buy, my mutual funds have done very well during the recent uptrend in Gold.  Those of you in San Antonio could find them nearby, US Global Investors is the company and the funds are USERX and UNWPX.  They are great for IRA's and Roth's.

The majority of my money is in those funds, and it has rewarded me so well that I want to move the rest of my non-perfoming money into them.  I'm going to take the loss on my Merck stock and cash it out, and move the money into gold.  The loss will help to offset my gains, and I'm going to need all the offset I can get this year.
