Bob Weiss fired

Seattle coach Bob Weiss was fired today.  Can't say I'm really surprised.  I thought it would happen sooner or later.

The question now is who's the next coach to get the ax?

My money's on Sam Mitchell.

Weiss is not only an idiot but he is clueless as a coach!  

Was last year a fluke?  Well, McMillan got the MOST out of the Sonics and they played to their greatest potential -- nobody picked them to be a favorite this year but they SHOULDN'T be this bad.  The team lost a LOT of weight (see the added weight to the Knicks roster).  

There ARE some major differences this year vs. last year:
1.  Lewis played better under Mc.
2.  The team played better defense.
3.  The Sonics BIGS rebounded better and played decent underneath.
4.  Mc knew how to use Rach -- mainly off the bench.

All Weiss has done this year is basically send the guys out to play -- that's NOT going to get it done with the current Sonics roster!
