NFL wrap week 10
« on: November 14, 2005, 01:01:10 AM »
KCs defense finally holds so the offense lays an egg.   Thinking was Trent Greens fathers death caught up to him this week.  While understandably it would affect Greens play, from Vermeil and KCs angle to me thats a lame excuse for not using the backup QB.  They didnt make it, a talking head did.  At any rate it helps the Chargers hope of getting a wild card so MmmartyBall can go ultra conservative with the game on the line in a 1st round and out game.

Speaking of Vermeil, the 'heads propped him and so do I for the two point do-or-die conversion last week.  So today the media morons say exactly alike is Grudens lucky instant replay survival of Alstott at (or near) the goaline to upend the Skins.  Problem is he didn't go for it. It was only because the previous play when the Skins blocked the PAT that Chucky decided to run Alstot for the Tampa Bay win.  Media kills me.  I know you Phillyites are happy because of the standings....

Eli Manning lays an egg because Joe picked the Giants.   Mn is very alive after all.  In ParityBall here is your chance to jump right back into the division race on Monday night, Eagles.

Carolina is looking like an NFC title game lock.  ATL looks like my Speedy Gonzales is human after all.  Fumble with game on line.

Pittsburg impresses me but they dont.  By that i mean they are super consistent but at the same time look beatable.  Of course Kid Wonder Rothlesburger was out so...

Indy with playoff home court in the Dome is greatly increasing their Bowl chances.  Props to JVille for keeping it mathematically close but it looks like an Indy lock for homefield thuout.
