Is it that bad?? Even with Pacino??
Relies on often used expressions, and reactions, instead of adapting to the script, which in this case was lame also. He often overacts, it just has the effect of "you're trying too hard" and it comes across as phony in too many (most?) spots in this movie. Along with his mass overuse of profanity he came across as a juvinile 'poser.
The scene where he grabs McConaughy and threatens him in a GodFather cliche move. :rofl: It doesn't work at all. Many parts of the movie have this 80s cheesy made-for-t.v. camera work and sound. Don't know what inspired that. You'll feel like you were flipping channels and ended up on a station that plays ancient borderline and straight up B movies.
I know you're tempted to go, as was I and it was soley a completely unexpected schedule change, sore back needing to sit and a rainy day in SoCal that got me in. It had potential, that subject is an interesting one. I'm convinced you will leave saying "average" at best.
