Ahh...Finals of Old

ESPN is replaying all the classic FINALS games, and to me, the only memorable ones (sorry MJ) feature the old Laker-Celtic matchups of the 80's. Just rewatching those old broadcasts (caught the 84 & 87 Finals) brings back many memories. I remember watching them as a kid, and that's what originally got me into basketball in the first place. Watching Bird, Magic, Danny Ainge popping from the 3, Kareem and the Chief, makes me wonder if basketball will ever have any memorable classic rivalries like they had back then ever again.

Don't get me wrong, any Spurs fan will cherish these moments that are going on now, but even just hearing the announcers call the game back then, and not having all this TV fluff that comes across your screen now, it just dosen't compare.
