that he will take the Cavs offer to become their new President.  Umm, can't he wait until AFTER the playoffs before making these kind of announcements to "league officials" (or anyone other than his wife, IMO).  This DEFINATELY isn't what the Pistons need!  Where is that TEAM attitude that Brown seems so concerned with?

The fact that Billups even mentioned Larry's comments about moving during an after game interview says something.  He wasnt even directly asked about it but made a comment anyways, after a huge win for them.  There should be nothing going on in their head other than food, sleep, and winning.

Larry Brown went from someone I really respect as a coach to Mr. Grade A moron real fast.

Actually, I had only seen the rumors in print before, dabods -- this article made it seem like a lock (before I thought it was only a Peter Vecsey kind of rumor).  Stupid stupid timing on Brown's part!

I always wonder what a team like the Cavs are thinking:  "hmm, if he does this to his present team -- what's going to keep him from doing it to us in the future?"  Or do they just bury their heads in the sand and pretend that it "will never happen to us!"

Nah, when reality posted it, the story was on ESPN.

As for what is cleveland thinking, Larry's not leaving the pistons because he's changing coaching jobs, he's leaving because he's giving up coaching due to health reasons.
