was able to do with Boston this year!  Of course, anyone want to start a betting pool to see how long it takes before he takes Danny Ainge out and beats the crap out of him for being a stupid GM?

Doc didn't do anything.  They traded and got Walker back and that made them better then the non-playoff teams in the NBA.  Good enough to take a marginal playoff team to the wall, but not good enough to go any further.

Maybe if they had the discipline to play a team game and execute in a half-court set, they could have beaten Indy and Doc would deserve his props.

Actually if you want to bring up anything bring up the fact that Gary Payton pulled a Peja in game 7.  GP has been nothing short of money for them the whole series and the biggest game comes along and he has something like 6-7 points and 7 assists???  After comming off a game (I think game 2 or 3) where he just was beating the crap out of Indy every which way.

Yeah, they essentially got walker for free.  I'm not sure how great of a job doc did to squeeze 45 wins and lose in the 1st round of the playoffs with home court advantage to a team without its 2nd best player and whose first best player is gimpy.  Outside of the ridiculous streak right after the trade, they haven't played good ball.

I think that any coach that can win with 'Toine Walker must be doing something right!!!  I am VERY unimpressed with Walker!

FYI,

GP hurt his back, he couldn't do much in game 7.

So Doc Rivers why was he in?

3 home losses in a series?

Tony Allen  or another bencher 100% healthy is not as good as Payton at 50% :nonono:

Exactly.

If GP was hurting THAT bad then he shouldnt have been playing.  Anyone could have came in and did what he did in game 7.  IMO I think he said he was good enough to play but when they got their butts kicked its an easy excuse to fall back on.
